A fabricated (and patently bogus) "voice transcript" of
Apollo-11 astronauts reporting seeing UFOs is often accompanied by one
or more "blobby snowman" photographs, allegedly taken by Buzz Aldrin. In
the two views shown here, actual stills from a movie sequence taken the
day before the moon landing are
compared with published "UFO versions", which have apparently
been contrast enhanced, airbrushed to remove extraneous reflections, and
otherwise cosmetically "improved" to make a window reflection of an interior
ceiling light into a "UFO". A full description of how these images were

but the best refutation must come from viewing the actual original film,
which shows all the images bouncing around in unison on the window as Aldrin
tightens the mounting locknut in the right window frame of the Lunar Module.
The film is included in the 1979 NASA-JSC compilation of misrepresented
"UFO images", CL-862, and can be purchased or borrowed from NASA in Houston.
